Not so scary

I’ve had this image for a while now, but have been intimidated by the thought of coloring her. I mean, have you seen some of the beautiful cards being created with this sweetie? Anyway, she was easier than I expected and here is my finished result. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This image is called Joy Sitting and she is a Digi from Sugar Nellie. I colored her with Copics and added some deeper shades with Prismacolor pencils. You can find an excellent tutorial for coloring her at this link to Cats Whiskers Tutorials.  Jacs really does make it easy to follow.  I found this gorgeous paper in my Stampin’UP! stash. I forgot I had it. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the embossed swirls are done with a folder from Cuttlebug. I could have cried yesterday when I broke my Martha Stewart punch for the leaves.  Now there’s a new one sitting safely in it’s drawer! I followed the sketch at the Sugar Bowl Challenge, but something came up this morning and I didn’t get it posted in time for that challenge. Oh well.
